RISER is supported by the European Commission since 2003 within the eTEN programm.
RISER aims to establish itself as a sustainable trans-European eGovernment service with a focus on the enlargement of the service to further countries. RISER currently consists of an international consortium including participants from the Member States Austria, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Poland and Slovenia co-ordinated by the RISER ID Services GmbH.
